Npower is a leading energy company in the UK.

Npower was privatised in the 1990s, when it became National Power. Over the following 10 years the business was transformed through the acquisition of Midlands Electricity, Calortex, and Independent Energy. Then in April 2000, the business relaunched under the npower brand.

Npower is now part of the RWE Group, one of Europe’s five leading electricity and gas companies.
